Mine [Thomas x reader oneshot]

After a long and exhausting day on the set, Thomas went back home to his apartment. Finally he had some time for himself to relax a bit. Slowly he opened the door to his apartment, put his bags down and went to the living room to search for his beloved (name). Two weeks separated were just too long for him to bear although she was only a friend, according her own opinion. Oh how he longed to tell you of his feelings for you, but he couldn’t.

Not long after he met you in London, he had fallen head-over-heels for your charm and wit. When he heard that you searched a place to stay at during your studies in London, he was more than willingly to offer you a room at his place. And from that moment, the two of you were inseparable. What began with going to a film together or getting a drink in the local bar, soon ended with going together to parties to promote the latest films he played in.

“(name)?” he asked, peeking his head around the corner of the hallway. When he saw that you were sitting on the couch, reading a book and listening to music, he walked over to you.

“Hey, watcha- … Is that my ipod?!” Tom asked rather surprised. You pulled one of the earplugs out of your ear and looked up at him with a curious look in your eyes.

“Thomas! You’re back!” You jumped up and ran into his arms to give him a hug. “But to answer your question: Euhm… no?” you said with a mischievous smile on your lips.

Thomas looked at you with a serious look in his eyes, “Yes it is! I’ve been searching everywhere! Can I have it plz?”.

You stared in his pleading blue-green eyes for a moment and thought of the possible answers to give. For a second you couldn’t get it over your heart to refuse the puppy-look he was giving you, but you weren’t going to give him what he wants so easily. “Nope” you answered on a self-assured way.

Thomas looked rather surprised to get such an answer, especially from his oh so sweet roommate. “Why not?” he asked way to dramatically for your liking.

“Listen Tom, I found it… So it’s mine.” Did you just refused him?! He couldn’t believe his ears! “ No it isn’t, (name)! Please… you know I need it to relax a bit after a hard time on the set.”

Sure you knew he needed it, but wasn’t that a good reason to continue this just a little longer? Your mischievous smile grew even wider and you looked challenging at him.

“Ok” he then said, walking over to the kitchen to grab a drink and then went back to sit on another couch to drink.

You were confused, this wasn’t his way of doing. No pillow-fight? No tickling? Just nothing? No no no, this couldn’t be. “ Just Ok?” you asked. Now it was your turn to look at him, rather confused.

Thomas took a sip of his drink, “So… If you find something… It’s yours?” he then asked with a mysterious tone in his voice. After taking another sip, he looked straight into your eyes.

You noticed the unussual undertone in his voice but didn’t think of something strange, “Yep” you then answered your roommate.

Thomas started to smile and drank a bit of his drink before continuing your conversation. He wasn’t giving you the pleasure of tricking him, not this easy although. “I found you on the street in London…” Thomas said while looking at the floor, “… So that means that…”.

Everything immediately became clear for you, “No no no, Thomas! That doesn’t count with-“. You couldn’t finish your sentence as he spurted over to you and pulled you closer. In less than a second, your lips were pushed against his in a passionately kiss. When both of you separated to breath, you looked deep into his eyes.

“I love you (name). From the moment we’ve met, I couldn’t get you out of my mind. I… I didn’t dare to tell you about my feelings, afraid that you might leave and I wouldn’t be able to see you any longer. You may keep my ipod, (name), as long as I can keep you, as long as you will be mine. Would you give me that pleasure, (name)? I would be the happiest man on the planet. No, not the planet… The whole universe!”

You couldn’t believe your ears! Did Thomas just told you he had the same feelings for you as you had for him?! You smiled, sincerely this time, “I love you too Tom”. You wrapped your arms around his neck and started to kiss him. After wrapping his own arms around you so you couldn’t get away, he kissed you back.

After all that time, a simple ipod did the job. To make them confess their feelings for each other, to make an happy ending.
